i got in touch with person paying for bc2 server

I emailed spets who is the person that paid for the bc2 server for 3 months. He plans on coming on around april 28. He will be able to play for about a week before he is shipped to afghanistan on May 11. I dont believe my pc will be fixed then so just a heads up.

On a side note:it seems we have a lot of ppl in the bc2 section but ppl are saying the server is not active. Is it wroth keeping the server going when time runs out? What is being done to get recruits? What can be done to get recruits? Are there any ads in the server that give out our ts info or website? If not can we get them added? Ask your steam friends maybe we can get some recruits from that.

Server not worth the money right now I think but division will get busier now that more old school KMA's are joining division. Server does show our website address and recruiting message but not TS info. I try recruiting when good team players show during games but difficult to do so when not our own server. How much does server actualy cost? Dark Anarchists offered to help out each other to populate server but for that some of us need to get on their server and TS and build relations. Just as in BF2 and 2142 having our own server is ideal but none of us really want spend an hour shooting each other while waiting for peeps to get in ; there has been good days with almost full capacity but not often enough.

I believe the cost of the server is around 140 for 3 months. I know DA clan very well as I was in their clan. Once I get back I will help to build relations. I do not like the idea of sharing the server meaning spliting costs on the server as this could create unneeded issues. I believe either we own a server or not is the better option. If we don't own our own then we need to be respectable on our servers so we don't get blacklisted. I don't forsee this being a issue but it needs to be said so no one can say I did not know. If any questions/issues with the server atm let me know and I will try to get into touch with the person paying for it. I think it would be best to hold off renewing the server until we have a clear number of other kma members that will be joining. Maybe we should make a poll on the website to see how many would join. I believe we need a minimum of 10 active members before we would pay for a server. By active I mean playing bc2 at least 10 hours a week. I believed i touched on everything and pls keep this topic open by saying your concerns or questions. We are here to help.

Speaking about server can u possibly get in touch with whoever got admin rights on server to include TS info since it got busier last couple of days. That way it will be easier to get people interested in joining, we can put ingame messages regarding recruitment and requirements.
