-dev problem

Well I gave up on dling the patches cause I ran into a new problem,so I decided to dl a custom map.But when I edited the properties of coh and added -dev at the end and hit a apply it says it`s no valid,is it cause i don`t have all the patches?

once you have the latest version you dont need -dev, you just have to drop it in the correct folder...which i dont remember anymore..i used to make custom maps, but seeing as though something happens every month and i end up reformatting my pc i gave up on it.

i really like that game but the amount of patches is fuking ridiculous. i tried to download them but everything got fuked up there are so many i couldnt remember witch 1s i did and witch 1s i needed. i said fuck you to game and uninstalled the whole thing. and you know what. i say good fucking riddance.

I only got to 2.0 patch and it screwed up again so I don`t have the recent patch.

2.6 is the final patch, so guys dont worry the patches are over.
