Well thought I would share this in case anyone has a similar issue someday. A few months ago my router went down, it would still connect but couldnt pull up any webpages, email, etc.. After tinkering for awhile I gave up and put it on the shelf and reverted to my back external modem, which is probably older than some of our clan members Smile (it has win95 setup instructions, lol)

It is a pretty unreliable modem which likes to disconnect several times a day Sad
So I got tired of it the last time it dropped me during an A&A game so decided to take another look at the router. In testing I noticed I could connect to TS, but nothing else...? wtf?

so I figured it had to be a firewall, port, local network, or router config error. Spent many hours reconfiging the entire setup with no success. Then it dawned on me... why could I connect to TS and nothing else? I was using an IP not a domain name...

called my hosting company and guess what, they changed my DNS server w/o telling me Evil or Very Mad
thanks alot.... well anyway, I got it working and should be much more stable in A&A Smile
no more drops, only crashes Shocked Cool

use opendns in future (goto opendns.org) it's fast and reliable.

and it's ok, I can't knife for shit either... lol
i think i have like 1 knife kill, and pretty sure that guy was afk Shocked
