Hi Guys here info about TS 3 and how the rights work and so

Well ivé got some questions from guys about admin rights and stuff so I will Basicly go through some things.

First of all i think everyone noticed that u dont need any pass to get in anymore noor do the admins sounds funny i know Smile

When you log on ts for the first time you will end up in a permission group called guest. If you press your name, you will se in the right hand window a info window it says how many times you logged on and your name, a little futher down on that window it says channel group and server group.
Were it says server group it will automaticly set you in the group guest if u havent given any group.
The reason you dont need pass is that you have somethign called A Unique ID it´s in short time bound to the computer your using. So if you trying to logg on with another cpu u will not have the same rights since you need to be on the right cpu to be able to have your rights that you have been given.
To make it a little bit more easier i will tell you how the system is set up.

this is how I have set it up. There is nothing called RSA anymore there is kind of a simular thing but i´ll go into it later.

The new ts has a system based on permission.
That means all user are set in different permission groups.

In our ts i have-re named some groups and made a new own group for our members. Second group is called Div leader group. This group is actually the same as the old RSA but with some slightly modefications.

The last group I named Members . This group is actually were all members will be put in. now i made some changes with this. I have given all members to be able to use the new download file transfer thing on this ts. You have also been given power to kick make own channels and passworded ones but only that lasts as long as you are logged on ts onces you leave the room will disapear.
As i said before you have permisson to kick but not Ban you will be able to move pepole out of channels and in and out of other ones.
Now one more thing is that you are prob used to se the old RSA tag on your name if u have given any rights. but this ts doesnt work like that, it will only say what group u belong to. The only ones that will have any things behind their names will be the Master Admins.
And there will only be 4 of us.

SO to make oit short members have given more rights then they had on the old ts or vent. Div leaders has same rights as RSA and then it will be master Admins withc control the whole ts setting permission adn making channels and so on.

Is there anything you wanna ask or what group ur in just pm me or ask in ts if u dont know what group ur into or if I havent given you a group yet since everyone hasnt been on here yet.

First group is called Master Admin witch is in base are old RSA rights and note diffrens Master Admins have in this ts the same power as Spastic had on the old ts when u made rooms set rules and all that stuff.
