There has been some mention that there are issues with text size and color is some areas of the fisubice theme (our default theme). We are aware and will try to address the issue sometime soon. Will probably work on getting the theme from the old site setup first though. If you are having issues with the fisubice theme use "anagram" for now. The rest of the themes have issues (display) and are not recommended for use at this time.

thought i would update this as we got the theme from the old site up and running
that theme is 3d-fantasy
fisubice is still the default theme - you can select 3d-fantasy from
your account ----> themes
NOTE: we are aware the "who is where" block has display problems under 3d-fantasy. We will fix it sometime later |

lol ya i been shocked at times when seeing how it looks on different monitors... what looked crimson red on my monitor i found to look pink on many other monitors (gasp)
the settings can be a little complicated... does it look too bright on homepage and forums area? or just homepage, links on left, and content pages? |

go for the first one spastic.
Clear, legible and little stress on the eyes. Perfect contrast to a black background.
If it is too bright...turn on ya room light or open ya curtains so your eyes dont hurt. |

I think I remember way back when...we could edit the themes....not only choose from a list, but actually modify or make our own...
Im I correct?
Slap me if I deserve it... Sorry, I just listened to CCR...run through the jungle and had a sudden urge to make a Jungle Nam theme. |

Sweet. I would like to make a camo / jungle theme. War theme with explosions, flames, bullets, barb wire, etc.
What do you think? |

sounds cool dirty
if you serious you will also need a good text editor (notepad sucks) to make changes some of the color values. you will need an ftp program to upload files...
heres two good free ones
crimson editor
http://www.crimsoneditor.com/
filezilla
http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
(get the recommended client version)
you dont really need to know html unless you totally changing the layout, but you will need to know html color values which you can easily grab from photoshop
i could set you up to work on a theme on the rtsforce site, because it's the only way to preview the site as you work on it, unless you have a server in your house
i would recommend modding the fisubice theme, it's the most error-free.
it can take hours and hours to do a theme so if you still interested let me know and i'll hook you up more
same goes for you mustang if you interested... i know you spoke of it once... |
