Hello.

A short version introduction:

Name: Warren
In game name: A6E-Intruder (formerly VA-65WFFT)
Age: 41
Teamspeak downloaded: Yes
Time in AnA: Had the game for a couple of years, but didn't get into online play until Jan 2nd (after I decided to leave WoW)
Other online games: not many, as I spend a lot of time with family. I played Star Trek Armada for a couple of years, then was introduced to WoW where I played for 3+ years. I was a hard core raider on several servers (Emerald Dream and Dalaran) and levelled at least 1 of every class)

My interest in KMA: For the short time I've been online, KMA appears to be much more mature than many others I've encountered. I've never been called or insulted as a noob (which I am) by any of your members, but unfortunately, aside from Whitehorse, I've not had many conversations with other memebers (yes, I know when a noob says hello to anyone the chances of a response are slim Cool

. I spend a lot of time watching films of previous games, I've studied the AnA website (nicely done, btw), and I play any game I can get into. Unfortunately, I get kicked from many games (I realize no one likes playing with a noob) or the team games I can get into are usually stacked (which I hate). Still, I'll 1v1 anyone and play in the stacked games so I can at least watch the film (my win % reflect this, however Crying or Very sad

) . I notice that there are usually several KMA's on in the evenings and it appears all of you are very experienced. I'd love an opportunity to pick your brains and improve my gameplay in the process.

Personal info: I'm a 41yr old (retired military) father of a 3 yr old (who I keep during the day while I work), and an 18 yr old currently in college. I own my own small business which I do from home . I'm pretty no nonsense and always respectful. You'll never hear or see me giving another player grief, and I can't stand to see others do it.

I'll understand if my application is denied, as I am still a noob to AnA, but at the very least, if you see me in game, give me a holler Very Happy

To be considered for joining KMA you need to come on line and start playing with our members....You will find that you will learn alot more with people instructing you on the finer points you may not have realized playing on your own....Playing games while on teamspeak is really a must to learn effective ways of communication and teamwork...Look forward to meeting you on teamspeak...Thx, Whoremonger...Division Leader

Thanks for the response. I have TS installed, but don't have access to the server info. As far as playing with KMA members, most of the games are pick'ems and (surprise) I'm not picked, though I understand the preference to play with more experienced members. I'll continue to attempt to get into games with other KMA members.

You seem like a cool guy and I understand about the difficulty getting into games. Getting to know people on Teamspeak will help, and it seems you have a willingness to learn the game which helps too.. Most EXP players won't mind showing you some things if they waiting for a game, etc... as long as they know your not some smurf wasting their time (which has happened), so once again TS helps for that.

Not sure what times of day you usually game, but it's easier to get in a game as a newer player at off-hours; when maybe there aren't enough vets online. I'm most often on some weeknights 8pm-2am give or take... I'd be glad to catch a game sometime Smile

Pretty much if you have ts it is guarenteed that you will get better, look at sum1(in my opinion was a noob before ts, still love you though) red arrow, and hannible who should be in kma.

I played with this guy, he was piked last on my team in a pik em..... Great Guy, did what i asked him to do and did really good. Didnt even get low score but one of the highest. I vouch for him, to him id say yes anytime. All he needs to twink up is his micro and he will be good to go.

Hey if you can hop on ts with us, and play some more games with us, il gladly take you on my team.
Btw the accounts you can find me under are= Pvt.Whitehorse, Mr.Logitech, and RussianCockSuck.... lol theres a story to the last name haha. Ask Goldy. But yea guys hes a good player, i wouldnt call him a noob, for a starter he plays just as good as Sputnik, or Ghetto.

Thanks for all the help tonight, Heretic. My brain is on information overload lol. Thanks for the kind words as well, horsey. Had fun playing with you guys, and especially enjoyed War's colorful commentary. I especially liked when someone grp'd on top of his units and got them all nuked Razz

I like this guy's character. He articulates his ideas quite well. Hopefully I spot you in some games and can get you plugged into my team or something so I can see how you play.

Even if your skills don't measure up to most of our expectations, I still think you have a really good chance of becoming KMA. As Warmonger will probably agree, we try to evaluate new members not solely based on skill, but also on character. And from what I've seen, everyone seems more than content with your personality.

But yaa....I guess we'll have to hear more about you from other members (including myself) as we see you in the battlefield.

Thanks again for the kind words. Everyone I've met thus far has been really welcoming, and I appreciate it. As you can see (if you've played with me), my game needs a lot of work, so keep those pointers coming Very Happy

Had a bit of a rough game today which I hope didn't frustrate people too much. I can promise that I'll have many more rough games to come Smile

On a personal note, I'll be leaving town this Thursday, not to return until Monday night (my mother passed away this weekend). After that I should be back to my normal schedule. Just wanted to pass that along so no one thinks I disappeared or lost interest.

hehe. Well i dont know you but u seem to be like a Jaxsaints guy (old faggot) ment in a good way. Im a wow whore right now but i maybee be in and do some games in A&A havent played it for awhile. And if everyone wants him in I dont think we need to do a Poll just tell him to put the tags on and hes god to go for it Smile
