Can we allow certain tags to be used in posts?

I understand the safety feature stuff n all, but a simple [URL=" kinda thing for links would be cool I think...

I find it to be a nice tidy way of linking people to stuff without having a mile long string of garbage making your post look so terribly ugly. Confused
