Mod release: expansion or stand-alone

I'm just wondering if you would rather the beta be a standalone game - run seperately from normal AnA (this would require you to reenter your cd key, and it would slow down the realease), or just be an expansion that you merge with the original game (this is how it currently is and it's a bit of a pain to switch back and forth)... Would like to here your thoughts, thanks

well my first step toward a mod project would be to create an installer, and the entry would be listed in add/remove programs so unmodding the game could be done there.

'No promises I'll get it working but that was my idea..

It might mean tweaking the format of the mod and including a few files with it, like a game icon, etc..

I'll know more when I get my feet wet Smile

Probably start toying with a mod some time next month. For those interested in contributing to any mods (your own or a new project) make sure you registered on http://www.axis-and-allies.com

I do like the idea on a separately installed game too, good idea... So I'll leave it up to you Smile

Just keep in mind there MAY be an installer someday...
