Patch Problem

I posted my app and I mentioned I could not play online due to the patch problem I will explain what is happening here.I am on a rather big patch at the moment,its 1808mb I believe but every time I click online to let it dl the screen goes black then returns to the coh dler thing then goes black again and coh exits out and a bug report pops up.Anyone have any I dea what is going on and if there`s a way to fix it?

try downloading the patch from fileplanet.com or gamespot and reinstall coh from the beginning

I`ll try that,but how do I know what patch to dl?

how many patches have you downloaded before what version was u playing?

Dam not entirely sure,I would guess 6 but that`s probably wrong.

I am going to ask an obvious question just o make sure i am doing this right,I reinstalled it and installed patch 1.4.0 and now its on the 1822.8mb one so dl patch 1.4.1?Sorry of i`m bugging you I just really want to get this dam thing to work,I just dled 1.4-1.5.1 patch will that work and if so where do I put it,and yes I am noob.

It`s up and going now just finished patch 1.6 but my bro kicked me off,should I just dl the rest off web or no,it seemed hell of alot faster.

Here`s a little update installed patch 1.7.1-2.1.0.1 but when I awoke it said it was aborted so I have to restart it hopfully this time it dl`s.May have been that I didnt have 1.7.1 installed yet.

Well 1.7.1-2.1.0.1 is giving me trouble my stupid brother kicked me off when I had 2 hours left and paused the dl,when I went to unpause it it said it couldn`t and said fail and now i have to do it all again.If it fails this time I do`t know what to do.

i like coh but those huge patches are one of the reasons i stopped playing. i live in remote area and my connection is limited, DL'n a 1.2gb patch, forget about it Sad

Thanks spastic,well it failed saying it couldn`t save the document so I give up on dling it from fileshack I will just try and dl it normally even though it will take a few days.

I am going to try and stay up until it finishes i dled it again,5hours ;d
3 hours and hopefully it wont screw up.

Well I am taking this dl slowly might have it don` by Saturday,showing good signs it has the ch icon which never appeared in last four.Wish me luck.
