countries can be added...just a lot of work, my mod is mainly a new nation mod, and i dont believe choosing powerups would work, cause each generals powerups have to be scripted in his .tgi file, as for ships in a rated game, would be rather useless on a random map, but it would be possible to make new, rated scenario maps (which would have to replace the old ones unless a new .txt file containing which maps were rated and such were made and put online) can be made, or a map like Kursk could be changed to 4v4 (Kursk is too big for a 2v2 in my opinoin). In my mind, airfields should still count towards building cap, cause then some someone could go crazy with airpower and not suffer his eco (large supply farms and many arfields and maximum tents). For example, making an actual kind of historical battle be rated would not be too dificult, for example, i have made a historical Market Garden map rated by giving it the same name as the original Market Garden. And i dont think we should lean to much in the direction of CoH, because Axis and Allies is its own game, and most of us actually own CoH (myself included) and i do not see much of a point in having two games that are pretty much the same. If we were to go in that direction, and make specilized regiments, the unit cap would have to be doubled or maybe tripled, cause there would be these one or two unit regiments would not be enough with such a small regiemtn cap...being a major, i do not believe that we should change teh rank system, cause i have 600 games left until i get my star. 5v5s, 6v6s etc are quite possible, but maps would have to be greatly largened. btw, changing rated maps and ranks would pertain changing to dirrectary from its original position on the Gamspy website to either this one or a new one etc. i am not the best at scripting AIs and have not taken a look at many files pertaining to the actual usage of the game as opposed to the nation files, which i know all about. My knowledge comes mainly from fooling around with countries versions, so some information here could be wrong...

heathen resistance groups could be cool but as of cities i only capture citis for supply line but cities could also provide speical regiements this is kinda dumb thought but just an idea and i think its just pointless but give another reason then capture cities for just supply

You know how in Age of Empire you capture Native American villigaes? Well what if that's how you get the resistence and oil and ammo and supply. And if you capture certain resistence cities then you should be able to build a Resistence Regiment that contain basically an assortment of basic Inf men such as: 1 sniper,1machine gunner, 1anti tank ,1marine, 1 mortar, and a Commanding Officer, all combined to make 1 regiment. Also the resistance doesn't count towards your unit cap, but you can build more than 1 regiment per city.

Also is there a way to allow us to control more than 6 regiments at a time?

i think it planted in source code somewere but i havent looked at every AnA files yet

what do you think the make-up of a resistence regiment should be? My idea was...1 sniper,1machine gunner, 1anti tank ,1marine, 1 mortar, and a Commanding Officer... tell me some variations of what you think should be in the mismatch resistence unit.

tazmania makeing a whole new AnA game would take about a year. Also what come to mind would you rather have tank regiemtns or jsut sngal tanks like 1 tiger per rregient like most other games have and abilty to have restricitons under the server host in multiplayer

ya this is still on the project board but i got some stuff in the works right now. it will be late year before i can devote much time to it.

I know making a whole new game would take a year but it might be worth it. and no i dont want them to change it, like one tank i hate that, i like having a lot of them.

taz there are many ways that could be done as of game modes sets were you choose regiemtns or signal units. also this really aint much my mod/patch its more spas because he planned it.

Are you suggesting a "total conversion" mod of the game that runs separately, like they have done with HL and other games? We could change it to a different era/war to make it more interesting ie, Korea (China, North Korea, South Korea, USA, Great Britain), WWI (British, French, Belgium, Germany, Russia, Austria, Ottomans, possibly USA) but in order to do that, lots of models and skins would have to be made...

cap kramer a total conversion is what my mod turned into and i have something little inthw works now but im not showing it till completion. Also i think spaastic might go do the resistance groups for capturing city rewards and possible make more realistic areas as of citys that i could model so you can do city warfare
