(im almost done with my flying for now, once im at 30k points, ill do the next 20k (new rank) on infantry again, might even do 30k for the rank after that...tho i love flying (choppers) and have gotten better at it (funneling is awesome)

bf2 is alive right? or only few play it?

its alive if you dont count KMA atm...only few very active (me, and i believe shadow too, and a few more) altho they come in if you ask them Smile

and about the points, i need a next rank (and the one after that is close considering the progress needed for this one) which will be made using mostly infantry maps, instead of air maps (its faster)

General is the highest rank and it is givin to the best player of the month who is ranked lieutenant general. lieutenent general requires all veteran badges, 1440 hours of gameplay and a score of 200 000. it takes a long time.

I still play the hell outta BF2. Me and Magzie played some a coupla weeks ago. I still suck at it, but I like it better than A&A, I think.

like hawk said, 3 or 4 stars takes damn much time.... in bf2 atleast.

bf2142 its relatively easy, becouse you get points for "pins" such as knife and pistol pins, or kill streaks (easy, go find a knife/pistol server, or be good at other servers...i did both) and takes less time for badges too i think...

but i like bf2 better, you need more work, and are generally more skilled when you get higher ranks, unlike bf2142 (i could beat high ranks no problem while noob :S... altho that applies to bf2 aswell. gotta love taking down 3 or 4 stars heheh)

Check out the BF2 reference here at KMA. It tell you a lot about how points and ranks and all work.
