Seven of Goodfellas' winning game films from KMA's, Axis and Allies 1v1 Tournament "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" September-October 2005. Not only was Goodfella the only player to go 5-0 in the first round, he swept thru the finals as well. Including defeating the #1 seed three times. We dug thru our archives and found seven of those films for your viewing and educational pleasure.
River1 is a large 8-player map. There are many strategies that will work for this map but of course the main feature of the map is the river that forks through the center of the map. Multiple bridges lead across the river and defending them will be key. There are lots of resources on this map so you can build up forces fast. The rest of this map consists of a few small towns and farmland surrounded by hedgerows. Good luck and enjoy the map.
4v4, works for both Annihilate and Victory Point game modes, and is really tough. The nice thing about this map is you will need to adjust your strategy depending on if you start inside or outside the base. But either way, holding the 4 bridges is critical.
3v3 and works for both Annihilate and Victory Point game modes. Originally there were just two bridges to cross the river, but that always ended in a boring stalemate. As a result, I added a small shallow area between the two bridges that can also be used to get across the river.
Coming to a close, the French summer season seemed short. Realizing the harsh winter to come, the allies have begun to deliberate for one last attack. The allied command has decided that a quick push through the Ardennes is necessary, despite the lack of intelligence of the region. After months of deliberation, they have decided to attack a small crossing in an opening in the forest. However, an encripted message was intercepted by German forces, and they have dispatched a large force to defend the region. As the forces near, the villages have begun to evacuate, leaving empty towns to be fortified. Rocky terrain, closed paths, heavy forests and hedgerows, all block easy movement of troops. Guns at arms, cannons loaded, forces advancing; so begins the battle for the Ardennes. This is a 6 player map (3v3), and is another fictional map of mine. There are three hills on the map, each of which is covered with thick forests, hedgerows, and each with it's own small passages. Loacted on the two outter hills are 2 towns, one for each. These are of great strategic importance, both for resources and for location, since they guard the main passages into the bases. In the middle is the third hill, this one, however, does not have a village. This one, instead, is covered with wild hedges and trees that make for poor armoured movement -- same as the other two hills. Connecting the three hills are two narrow routes that are the easier for tank movements. Armor can be used for all paths, just be warned that there will be heavy traffic in the forest routes on the top parts of the map.
This map features fighting in a destroyed town, fighting in plain and the mountain, the central zone is exclusive of the infantry's thus no over powering.
Montallegro it is a real Italian village , where the second world war has been fought. Capture the check points on the hill and you will win!
Map completed 3 vs 3 both bases hardened and bunkers hidden throughout countryside. Takes place after artillery strikes from both sides. Crucial to secure the center bridge for victory.
Hi there, My map is finished now, I tested it with several high and low lvl players, and they thought it was pretty good, and wouldnt mind being it an official map. Balance is pretty good too, Tested quite thoroughly.
Some think its too big, but its actually smaller then semois, it looks kinda big if you dont know it , put alot of work in it so you might try it out. I had some good games on it, and storms really own on this map with their stealth and bundled nades . It has mini map music and I removed some wrecks too close to both bases, and adjusted some points.
