well i figured out word on the street was that one guy is MIA and the other isn't on very much. There is a possibility they don't even know they were registered?
If they show up they can re-apply, as for everyone else, there is only 1 spot remaining!
i thought cockgobblers was just fine  im kinda thinking that the 4v4 tourney should be done with clans only. you are going to have to have standbys and shit. theres no way to control that with non clans to go too... you kinda need some one to beat up when they no show... you see the questions xxx has just with the smurfs in the 2v2 imagine the 4v4. im also with panko the 3v3 should go first. plus makin these clan games may clean up axis. i also think we should make up a discussion board made up of clan members at least one from each clan to get all the clans problems delt with. it would be up to the board to make the rules and set the rankings. so everyone knows its fair. if need me i can go to each clan and try to get a GOOD member to participate in this. we may need to make a new forum for it . just for those members. who knows mabe these people can help monitor these games so we can have multiple day tourneys.

Well I spent a FAIR portion of time setting something up for the
March Madness 2008 - 2v2 Tournament
RANDOM SELECTION SHOW
Which will be held on a weeknight, at an undetermined date and time, in the Gamespy Lobby. The public will be invited, and can even participate in the random selection process. While no system is 100% perfect, I think I came up with a pretty good 2 stage process that should not be effected by buddy messages, whispering, etc... Until both "stages" of the selection are complete, I won't even know how the bracket breaks down.
That being said, I can't finish preparations for the selection show until:
- We have 16 Teams
- All Teams Have a Captain registered on Site
- All Teams Have a NAME

I hear what you are saying, unfortunately the system I came up with doesn't allow me to affect how the seedings are selected (which should be a good thing, it is supposed to be random)
We will see how it plays out, and I hope we don't get a scenario like you have mentioned...
I guess teams will have to keep their fingers crossed. We'll see how random seeding works this time around... Well it's too bad we can't be flexible with the times, we would if it didn't leave the whole bracket waiting... Sorry you wont be able to make this one.. But we'll be doing more

with two pending registrations Our Tournament Module only allows for each site user to have 1 team on the bracket, so each team will need at least one registered site user that can report wins.
The Tournament Module is pretty cool, but not perfect, we can delete fraudulent "reports" - but cannot post wins and losses for the matches. That is up to the team captain
The team captain is required to visit the site after EVERY win to report game results. When the Tournament is "In Progess" you will see a button marked report (sample below)
Make sure to select the correct Round and Match Number, which will be clearly marked on the Bracket. There is a box for "Score" which should be left empty.
