little britain rocks
lmao @ towel whip
i think Tora Bora will be good place to hide.
It's an acid trip like experience, had to watch it in 2 parts couldn't handle it all at once. Great movie if you like philosophy. I particularly liked the last person he talks to.
lmao seen that quite a few months ago, he said he was going like 90, clearly barely pushing 30
this movie kicked ass
lmfao thats awesome
Good choices, but here are some of my favorites:
The Longest Day - absolutely the best war movie I have seen
Patton - I have to disagree with Spas on this one, I liked the history aspect.
The Green Berets - If you are a fan of Vietnam war movies, this is a classic.
Red Dawn - A bit unbelievable, but at the same time something that no other movie took on, the invasion of North America.
Midway - Very well done, a bit mushy and slow at times.
Full Metal Jacket - 1st part of the movie is awesome, 2 nd part is just OK.
A Bridge Too Far - About Market Garden, very good film.
The Tank - More of a drama, but based on a Russian tank that gets lost in Afganastan.
Apocolypse Now - Weird movie, but very enjoyable.
Battle of the Bulge - pretty good, but the fight scenes were a bit staged.
Guns of Navarrone - fairly good
Dirty Dozen - great flick with lots of stars
Thin Red Line - just saw this, very good film.
If you didn't notice yet, I love movies...
Edit - damn good call one the Big Red One and Iron Cross - two of Lee Marvin's best films.
Akira Kirosawa is a fantastic movie maker. Here is a couple of my favorite:
Seven Samurai
Yojimbo
Ran
Yojimbo was also emulated by several films like Lats man Standing (Bruce Willis) and Lucky Number Slevin (also Bruce Willis).
Ran is one of those long epics that is only really appreciated by those who are a little familiar with ancient Japanese culture, specifically the fuedal system and Bushido.
If you watch the original Magnificent Seven, it credits Seven Samurai as the base of the film.
its funny shit. worth watching:P)
McLuvin
Never Back Down was a great movie. Totaly worth watching.
no way dude it was good, kinda had the feeling of eastern promises.
rofl thats a long way from child star.....
i want to listen to some Tom Jones
Dont know
cant remember it being computer animated
Probably one of the better military shows Weaponology profiles the evolution of many types of combat and weaponry. Episodes featuring Sniper Rifles, Body Armor, Submarines, Artillery, Booby Traps, Fire Weapons, and more.
Their Episode Guide will give you a pretty good idea about the show.

| Weapons technology has progressed from catapults to laser-guided weapons through a combination of ingenious inventions, lateral thinking, battlefield experience and no small degree of luck. But the line of fire from early innovative weaponry to modern super weapons is rarely an simple family tree. This series will draw together and illuminate the great leaps that designers have made in military technology over the last centuries. |
